Day 10: Ways to Reduce Stress

Let’s face it, stress exists in all of our lives.

In our fast pace world, anxiety and stress are simply unavoidable.

When stress becomes rampant, our bodies pay the price, and it manifests in all sorts of ways from sleeplessness and irritability to digestive distress and reproductive issues.

Stress is also the number 1 cause of insulin block in women. And, we know now that too much insulin isn’t a good thing!

Even with perfect food and regular eight hours of sleep, stress can make your blood sugar spike up and down all day long. As a result of the fluctuations, you feel brain fog, cravings, irritable, and low energy levels!

Nobody loves being stressed.

While many people turn to pharmaceuticals to deal with stress and anxiety, it may be worth looking to nature first. One of my favorite ways to combat stress is by using essential oils.

One simple whiff of a concentrated essential oil can almost instantaneously trigger our bodies into action, causing the production of feel-good neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine.

In today’s video I’m talking about how we can implement many of this natural solutions, like essential oils, to help combat stress and ultimately, hormonal imbalances.
